Blue Stream Fiber Selects Vecima to Launch and Manage Complex Multi-Vendor IPTV Platform

VICTORIA, BC – (August 24, 2020) – Vecima Networks Inc. (TSX: VCM), a global leader focused on developing integrated hardware and scalable software solutions for broadband access, content delivery and telematics, today announced that Blue Stream Fiber has selected Vecima’s MediaScaleX™ solution to power the delivery of their complex multi-vendor IPTV solution. Leveraging Vecima’s technical experience, the platform will be managed and implemented via Vecima’s Master Project Management solution.

With MediaScaleX, Blue Stream Fiber will offer a full IP integrated solution to their customers. Deployed across over 300 channels, including local, sports, international, and premium content sources, subscribers will benefit from modern features such as network DVR (nDVR) and time-shifted services like startover/catch-up (SoCu). The new services offering represents a significant quality of experience improvement for Blue Stream Fiber’s video subscribers.
