Through the MediaScaleX platform, regional content origination sites enable subscribers to access both local and national video feeds anywhere within the provider’s footprint through a seamless, single integrated user interface. MediaScaleX will deploy across all of Cincinnati Bell’s markets in Greater Cincinnati and Hawaii, and offers integrated OTT content, Cloud DVR, Start Over TV, Catch Up TV, and unified search.

“Cincinnati Bell is happy to work with Vecima in expanding the capabilities of our successful content offering. Built on a hyper-converged platform, which leverages common hardware infrastructure, the MediaScaleX solution provides the cost profile service providers need today, combined with the flexibility they need to scale to future demands and new access networks.

“Globally, both the consumption and delivery of video is rapidly changing. To take advantage of new opportunities, service providers need to adapt to the evolving demands of IP video and OTT platforms,” said Clay McCreery, Chief Revenue Officer at Vecima. “Cincinnati Bell is one of the most innovative operators in our industry, and we are proud to partner with them to provide cutting edge services and next generation video delivery architecture.”
