Vecima Customers, Partners, Friends:

Much like many of you, the leadership team and I have been grappling with the effects of COVID-19 these past weeks. I wanted to provide you with a brief update on how Vecima is coping, and what you can expect from us.

Let me start by recognizing health professionals, first responders, public officials, and all of those providing essential services to keep our shelves stocked, the lights on, and our families healthy. The entire Vecima family appreciates their dedication in overcoming this historic challenge.

I’d also like to take a moment to reflect, with awe, at how our customers in the service provider and content provider industries around the world are responding. You’ve put the normal set of goals aside and have stepped up in unprecedented ways to help those in need. It’s times like these that make me feel honored to be part of the industries Vecima serves. Now, maybe more than I can recall, people are keenly relying on the connectivity and content we’ve partnered together through the decades to provide.

I’m also very proud of how the employees of Vecima are responding. First and foremost, I want to report that all of us are safe and healthy. We’ve taken steps to allow most of our workforce to work remotely. We’ve implemented all of the social distancing and increased facility sanitization guidelines. We’re doing our part to flatten the curve.

With all of the changes we’ve put into effect in response, as of today Vecima expects to be fully operational in the weeks and months ahead, ready as always, to help you serve your customers. To hedge against an obviously uncertain situation, we’ve also revved up the engine on the production side wherever possible to get ahead of any future staffing challenges we might encounter.

So, while we might not be seeing you in person for a while, please know that the Vecima family is ready to help you support your customers in trying times. We stand with you, in the middle of this storm, looking towards the horizon with hope.
